Staff Team

Kate Turner	Director With over 15 years experience in the voluntary sector Kate has been involved with Healing Through Remembering since February 1999. Having previously been working as a freelance consultant Kate was appointed as full time co-ordinator for Healing Through Remembering in May 2004. Kate was appointed Director of the organisation in December 2008 and manages all aspects of the organisation’s development in conjunction with the Board of Directors.

Aongus O’Keeffe	Project Coordinator Aongus O’Keeffe worked in rural community development for a number of years before taking up a post with Trócaire in Sierra Leone, West Africa where he spent 5 years building up and managing Trócaire’s development programmes, working in two thematic areas of governance and women’s rights/empowerment. Aongus relocated to Belfast in early 2011 and took up the post of Project Coordinator with Healing Through Remembering in March 2011.

James Grant	Finance and Personnel Officer James is an experienced accountant and former CEO of Northlands. He has significant experience in the community and voluntary sector and is a trustee of the Lloyds TSB Foundation for Northern Ireland.
